This 5-day safari showcases three of Tanzania's most iconic wildlife destinations. The journey begins with a drive from Arusha to Karatu, the gateway to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, followed by a full crater tour — home to a dense concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. From there, travelers continue to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and flocks of flamingos. The final stop is Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and some of the largest elephant herds in Tanzania.
Depart from Nairobi (or Arusha), with lunch in Arusha, then continue to Karatu, arriving in the afternoon.
After breakfast, a full crater tour with a picnic lunch inside the Ngorongoro Crater.
